An hour to work out what a decision will actually take out of you — in recovery days, in symptoms, in what the following weeks look like — before you commit to it.

The Clinical Spotlight Map answers what's going on in your body. This session is about what to do with the life you're living in it.

You bring the decision. Lynn brings the physiology — what a demand of that size tends to take out of a system already carrying this much, and how long it usually takes to come back from. You leave with the tradeoffs in front of you and the choice still yours.

What "cost" means here

Not money. What a thing takes out of you: the days you'll need afterward, the symptoms that reliably flare when you go past your margin, the part of the following week you'll probably lose. Most people carry a rough sense of this and have never had it laid out plainly — which makes it very hard to weigh one option honestly against another.

You set the priorities.

A decision usually has two or three real paths, and each one takes something different out of you. Lynn's part is putting a realistic shape on that. What she can do is make sure you're choosing against an picture that take into account your bodily tradeoffs with real life decisions.

• A decision that will take more than there is — a job change, a move, a degree, travel, caregiving

• A season they can see coming, and the question of how to get through it without losing the months after

• The gap between the week they're planning and the week their body will actually allow

• How to describe limits to an employer, a partner, or a family member who hasn't understood them yet

What this isn't

No records are reviewed and no results are interpreted. Nothing about medications, testing, or providers is advised on — that belongs with your care team, and if a question turns out to be a clinical one, it gets handed back there or becomes a reason to consider a remapping conversation. This isn't therapy or counseling either. It's planning: structural, practical, and yours to keep. Nothing is written up afterward — the session closes with you naming what you're taking from it in the form of an actionable plan.

Every length includes

• 60-minute sessions with Lynn

• Your choice of video or audio each time. Comfortable. Lights low. You can be wrapped in a blanket, with a cuppa. Whatever you find most comfortable/regulating.

• Quick clarifying questions by email between sessions, with replies typically within 2–3 business days

Choosing a length

• Single session — one decision, one conversation. A good place to start.

• Three sessions — 3 monthly sessions for a stretch with several decisions in it. Clients have used this for planning tradeoffs for: a wedding, funeral, family reunion, local move, busy season at work, job decisions, a scheduled procedure.

• Six months — standing conversations you can relay on. Clients have used this for: starting a new role or reducing hours, a new diagnosis and the reorganization that goes around it, perimenopausal life shifts, rebuilding after a major health crash.

• Twelve months — a year of standing conversations at the lowest per-session rate, with priority rescheduling when something shifts mid-month and priority to add custom hours on my schedule (to be arranged case by case), this is an ideal time frame for a large life impact/transition. Clients have used this for: building a new business, leaving a career, long-term caregiving of children or adults (or both), parenting medically complex children, seasonal capacity differences (managing holidays, changes in weather across the year).

Good to know

Monthly sessions are tied to their month and don't bank —but if a particular month is not workable, reach out to Lynn and she will extend on a case-by-case basis. Pay in full or in equal interest-free installments.

Each remapping is a full resynthesis, not an addendum. New labs, current symptoms, a changed regimen, a shift in how you're doing — all of it gets integrated back into the pattern rather than appended to the end of an old document. What comes back is one coherent picture, current as of that quarter.

Every length includes

• Quarterly remapping — a complete update to your map, resynthesized as a whole

• Monthly 45-minute check-ins — in the month a remap is delivered, that meeting serves as your remap review; in other months it's a standalone check-in

• Your choice of format each time — video call, audio-only call, or a written check-in reviewed and answered within 2–3 business days

• Quick clarifying questions by email between check-ins, with replies typically within 2–3 business days

Choosing a length

• Quarterly — one cycle, renewable. The right starting point if you're not sure yet whether ongoing mapping is the fit, or if your picture is likely to settle within a few months.

• Six months — two full cycles. Enough time to see whether a change in direction is holding, and to integrate a second round of results before re-synthesizing.

• Annual — four cycles at the lowest per-cycle rate. For pictures that move seasonally, or care teams working through a long sequence of questions.
